The Birth of Craftsmanship:
Where It All Started
Hi, my name's Pete. I've been making furniture for over 25 years. I started the business back in 2001 when I was 19. My love for woodworking started at Bishop Luffa school where I had an amazing teacher called Mr Blamire.
Mr Blamire taught Craft, Design and Technology. It was my favourite lesson because I could actually see the fruits of what I was learning. One of my favourite projects I made was a model airplane made on the lathe. It was not your average sized plane; it was huge. I've always liked to make things big and that's been the story of my wood working life. I like building large impressive pieces of furniture that are both functional and beautiful.
Well since those early days, my wife and I have raised four kids and, in September 2020, my son Caleb joined me. I couldn't be a prouder dad. He's learnt the ropes and become a very talented young man.
Together we aspire to create beautiful kitchens, media units and more. We hope to meet you and showcase our capabilities.

Our Process
Initial Assessment
01
Design-Build
It all starts here. When you get in contact I will make an appointment to visit you and take all the details of what you require. Then I will produce a 3D drawing so you can clearly understand the design.
02
Scheduling
Scheduling is not always an exact art but I do try to work within your time frame. Generally it's about 4-6 weeks lead time between design and installation.
03
Estimating & Budgeting
We work to the quote that has been given and try to make the design work around your budget.
Construction
01
Quality Control
As we are a team of only two people, quality is always high. Caleb and I double check everything we touch in the workshop to make sure it is top notch.
02
Safety Management
When we install the finished project, we take good care to use common sense to not cause damage to you, your home or to ourselves.
03
Final Assembly
We always make sure that you are involved from start to finish and we never leave a job site until the customer is over the moon.
